“Everyone wants to fall in love, right? Look, I’m nineteen, been single for eternity. It’s not my fault that I’m undateable. I get my head wrapped around the fact that love should be like you see it in story books, I get to caught up and torn and then when I say I love you, every single girl falls through my fingertips. I’m the hopeless romantic type. I wouldn’t change it for the world.”

Make a list of everything you’d expect a typical nineteen year old guy with blond hair and deep blue eyes to be like— stuck-up, full of himself, jock. Now erase every single thing that came to mind because Charlie is nothing like any guy you have ever met. In fact, some would go as far as to call him Mr.Right. From a young age Charlie had high expectations when it came to love. He expected to find the perfect girl, fall in love and live the rest of his life happily ever after. He never once thought that he wasn’t going to have this happily ever after of his, even after girl after girl broke his heart. He always held his head up high and went on with his life, hoping that soon enough a girl would walk into his life. Preferably one that would love him as much as he would love her.

Once he received his invitation Charlie was pleasantly surprised, sure he was a decent writer, but in his mind his writing was nothing than his hopes ad dreams jotted down on a piece of white paper. Though without a second thought about it he agreed to go and before he knew it his bags were packed and he was making his way onto the bus. It was there that he noticed all the beautiful woman whom he would be spending a lot more time with and it was there that his heart started to ache more than ever for that perfect girl to come walking into his life.

• He is so set on finding love on this island, it being the best opportunity in his mind, that he doesn’t even question how they ended up here.
• Charlie gets along with the girls more than the guys, but is social with them as well.
• Most of the other guys get jealous of Charlie because all the girls find him easy to talk to.
• Charlie is a big fan of the waves and if hes not scribbling something down on paper you can find him surfing.
